SACCSS held its Annual Athletics Championships for Division 1 on Tuesday 3rd September 2024.
The Meet was held at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park.
Unfortunately, unlike last year the weather was not as kind to us – with Monday’s Division 2 Meet cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.
The conditions for Tuesday were much improved.
Division 1 had 8 of our 15 member colleges competing and all athletes displayed exceptional levels of determination, integrity and sportspersonship.
Congratulations to the St Monica’s College, who again had exceptionally strong teams across all categories.

13 Year Old Girls 4 x 100m Relay – St Monica’s College – Isabella Bernays, Maria Nomikos, Layla Habib, Phoenix Cotsis – 56.49 (previous 56.90 *** AND it was 36 years old!!!)
