The Senior Cricket Grand Finals were held on Wednesday 16th March 2022.
Division 1 was played between MacKillop College and Salesian College,
at MacKillop College, Werribee.
The Division 2 Grand Final was played between St Monica’s College and Caroline Chisholm Catholic College at Thomastown Recreation Reserve.
After some early showers across Melbourne,
both pitches were dry to commence play at 12:15pm.
In the Division 1 Grand Final Salesian College defeated MacKillop College 4/101 to 10/92.
The Best Player in the Grand Final as selected by the umpires was
Reece Bennett, Salesian College
This year SACCSS has introduced Peer Awards – each coach selects the best player
from the opposing team.
This medal is awarded to the recipient by the captain of the opposition team.

The Division 2 Grand Final was also very close with Caroline Chisholm defeating
St Monica’s College with a final score of 2/115 to 7/101.

Akshay Khabarwal – St Monica’s College.
