2026 Open Badminton

On Monday 11th May 2026 SACCSS hosted the Open Badminton Tournament at Eagle Stadium, Werribee.

The tournament was open to students from all our member colleges from Year7 -12.
The players competed in pairs in a Doubles Round Robin competition.

This massive Badminton tournament saw approximately 250 matches played across 24 Badminton courts over the day.

The Tournament was separated into 4 skill categories per gender:
– Open Boys A, B, C, D
– Open Girls A, B, C, D

The competitors were exceptional in their skill and conduct over the day.
Thanks to the staff and student helpers from Thomas Carr College and MacKillop College,
who assisted with the convening of the day – without them, the day would not have run as smoothly.
