We begin today by acknowledging that this gathering is being held on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung
and/or Bunurong people and we wish to acknowledge them as the Traditional Owners.
I would also like to pay my respects to their Elders, past and present,
and Aboriginal Elders of other communities who may be here today.
We gather today in God’s presence at the SACCSS (insert event).
We give thanks for the unique and special community to which we belong.
We ask for your help and blessing that we will participate in this event to the best of our abilities and in the true spirit of respectful competition and sportsmanship.
