SACCSS eSports Tournament

SACCSS Convened One Day Tournament with
META and Wyndham Tech School

Competition Format:

  1. The SACCSS eSports Tournament will be a one-day tournament and will take place virtually, with some schools hosted at Wyndham Tech School.
  2. Arrival from 9.00am for a 9:30am start.
  3. The competition will offer a Junior (Yr. 7 and 8), Intermediate (Yr. 9 and 10) and a Senior tournament, with all competitors to be in FULL FORMAL SCHOOL UNIFORM.
  4. It is a team’s event.
  5. FORMAT:
  • Round robin format (best of 3 or 5 per round, dependent of number of teams)
  • Duration: 4–6-hour tournament (very similar structure to chess tournament)

NOTE: # of rounds played is dependent on # of competing teams and may be altered accordingly on the day of the tournament.

  • Teams of 3 players, schools can enter an A and B team

Note: You can have a 4th player per team and rotate players each round.

  1. Device: PC or Nintendo switch (may need IT assistance for Nintendo)
  2. Game: Rocket League
