SACCSS Junior Futsal 2019
The SACCSS Intermediate Futsal Championship took place on Wednesday 26th June.
The Tournament was played across two venues at Albert Park.
The Boys kicked off at Albert Park Indoor Sports Centre at 9:20am,
competing in two pools and playing up to 7 games for the day.
The competition was fierce, as it is every year, however this year’s Semi Final was particularly intense.
St. Monica’s played Marymede College in the Grand Final – St. Monica’s victorious 3-1.
Athan Iliopoulos from St. Monica’s named Best Player in the Grand Final.
The Girls played their tournament in the Multi Sport Space at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Another strongly contested tournament with a few teams looking like stand out favourites early on.
The Grand Final was played between CRC Caroline Springs and CRC North Keilor; Caroline Springs winning 2-0.
The Best Player in the Grand Final was Mia Daskalovska from CRC North Keilor.
